Dody has studied classical voice for two summers at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA). In addition, she is a member of Ursuline Academy's Advanced Chorus.

Dody has also performed in numerous musicals with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society, including Wizard of Oz, Fiddler on the Roof (Tzeital), Cinderella (Cinderella), Children of Eden (Eve), Grease, Will Rogers' Follies, and Zombie Prom (Miss Strict).

Dody is a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Youth Choir, where she sings regularly at Sunday masses. She has also served as cantor for numerous masses at Ursuline Academy as well at masses throughout the New Orleans metropolitan area.

Dody is an honor student at Ursuline and is one of the school's student ambassadors. She is a member of the Queen's Players Drama Club and the Young Scribes Writing Club.

Dody plans on studying voice in college and pursuing a career in music.
